S32 presents itself as another “TelMe” than JLog2.x. The workaround against the known “RPM bug” in the ESC firmware is therefore not necessary for S32.
In order to achieve maximum resolution of the RPM and to obtain the possibility of both speeds (motor, rotor):
Set up in the ESC: (default) Poles==2, Ratio==1:1
You need the ESC firmware: KOSMIK: 4.10 up .. JIVE Pro: ab 1.10 up
